The Master of Human Kinetics (MHK) program provides specializations in Applied Human Performance, emphasizing movement science applications across sports, occupational settings, and everyday activities. Through coursework, thesis projects, and practical internships, students explore fundamental and practical aspects of human biomechanics, workplace ergonomics, exercise physiology, developmental processes, motor skill acquisition, neuromuscular function, and psychological factors in sports and exercise.
Having served as faculty for many years, as a distinguished graduate, and as a former Lancer athlete, I'm honored to welcome you to what we fondly call the HK Family. The Kinesiology Department is committed to progressing interdisciplinary kinesiology studies by combining cutting-edge research, innovative teaching methods, and community collaborations to improve human performance and wellbeing.
A person who holds a three-year degree in another discipline is required to complete the requirements for the Master's degree.
A person who holds a four-year degree in another discipline will be required to take up to five Kinesiology undergraduate courses prior to taking graduate courses.

Minimum IELTS: (7.0 - no individual band lower than 6.0 for PhD)
Minimum Pearson: 68
Minimum MELAB: 85
Minimum CAEL: 70
