The Steamfitter-Pipefitter profession stands out as it focuses exclusively on designing, planning, and implementing both low and high-pressure steam systems with their specific installation techniques. These professionals construct, service, and fix pipeline networks capable of transporting virtually any substance that flows through pipes - including water, steam, various fluids, gases, chemicals, fuels, and even wood chips. This training program provides foundational knowledge and hands-on skills needed to begin a career in this field. Students will master techniques for assembling, setting up, servicing, and fixing pipelines that transport water, steam, chemicals, and fuel within heating, cooling, lubrication, and other industrial piping systems. The curriculum also covers hoisting, lifting, and rigging operations. Theoretical trade knowledge and practical training are complemented by courses in communication and mathematics, with strong emphasis placed on workplace safety practices.
