Mount Royal's Bachelor of Health and Physical Education (BHPE) addresses the increasing demand for health and fitness leaders across Western Canada and other regions.
This program develops versatile, skilled graduates ready to serve as effective health promoters in their communities or continue their studies in advanced degree programs.
Offering an innovative perspective on health education unique to Western Canada, Mount Royal's four-year degree combines thorough academic training with practical, real-world learning experiences both on campus and in the field.
Students can choose from four specialized concentrations, each providing modern, results-driven methods that foster teamwork and leadership abilities essential for driving positive change in local communities.
High school: High School applicants must present five Grade 12 level courses for admission. Included in these five courses, applicants must present the required subjects for their intended program of choice. The specific courses required for your program count towards your Group A courses. The additional subject(s) which may be presented for admission include the following courses from Group A, B, or C. High School/Secondary and/or Post-secondary (transferable to MRU) courses 2 years of full-time study in English (see list of English-speaking countries below) and English Language Arts 30 – 1 (equivalent)
