The Bachelor of Business Administration with a General Management specialization provides students with adaptable program options and seamless credit transfer opportunities. Those selecting this major can customize their studies by selecting from diverse business courses to build comprehensive business knowledge. Alongside 16 mandatory core business classes, students may pick any 10 courses from the Bissett School of Business offerings, spanning Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources, International Business, Marketing, Social Innovation, Supply Chain Management, and Aviation. Alternatively, they may fulfill this 10-course requirement with classes from outside the business school. Prospective students should consult an academic advisor when planning their General Management major coursework.
The Social Innovation focus equips graduates with practical skills to initiate, design, and implement meaningful societal transformations. Grounded in principles of empathy, creativity, consent, and boldness - the foundations of social change - this specialization prepares students for diverse paths: joining purpose-driven corporations, contributing to public service, launching groundbreaking social ventures tackling systemic issues, or supporting Indigenous community development initiatives throughout Canada.

High school: High School applicants must present five Grade 12 level courses for admission. Included in these five courses, applicants must present the required subjects for their intended program of choice. The specific courses required for your program count towards your Group A courses. The additional subject(s) which may be presented for admission include the following courses from Group A, B, or C. High School/Secondary and/or Post-secondary (transferable to MRU) courses 2 years of full-time study in English (see list of English-speaking countries below) and English Language Arts 30 – 1 (equivalent)
