Qualification Requirements
Candidates for admission to the Technical Certificate in Marine Diesel Mechanics require a High School Diploma a grade 11 Public Examination Matriculation Certificate a Level III Adult Basic Education ABE Certificate or other qualifications judged by the Marine Institute to be high school equivalent

For admission to fall Sept 2024 and earlier A minimum score of 79 on the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing and not less than 17 in listening and speaking.

Pearson Test of Academic English PTE ACADEMIC - Requirement - For admission to winter Jan 2025 and later A minimum overall score of 60.
