Data science ranks among the most in-demand careers of the modern era. As digital interactions become ubiquitous, each person creates a valuable data footprint comparable to precious resources in today's connected world. This exponential growth in data generation creates a parallel need for experts capable of organizing, interpreting, and managing information - the core responsibilities of data scientists.

Upon finishing the MDSc curriculum, graduates will gain the ability to:

Acquire comprehensive knowledge of data science methodologies encompassing predictive analytics, machine learning, AI systems, data representation, and large-scale data processing.
Develop competencies to investigate, interpret, and graphically represent datasets of any magnitude using cutting-edge tools.
Utilize data science approaches to solve complex, data-intensive challenges across diverse domains, evaluate information critically, and inform strategic choices.

The Master of Data Science (MDSc) is an intensive 12-month program featuring ten courses, supplemented by a case study component and a culminating research project.

Qualification Requirements

MDSc Bachelors degree minimum second class applicants should have at least one college-level course or equivalent knowledge in each of the following areas multivariate calculus statistical inference and computer programming in a high-level programming language such as R Python C C plus plus Java etc Applicants who are admitted to the MDSc program shall complete three online noncredit propaedeutic courses before the start of the first semester Final enrolment to the MDSc program is subject to the completion of these propaedeutic courses Transcripts Grad Transcript and confirmation of degree Grad Confirmation of Degree Awarded - Transcripts should be uploaded to the online application after your application is submitted. Two 2 letters of appraisal Grad Reference. Please submit an updated resume. TOEFL - An aggregate score of 80 - 92 for graduate programs with higher English proficiency requirements. IELTS Academic - An aggregate score of 6.5 - 7 for graduate programs with higher English proficiency requirements. Duolingo English Test - An aggregate score of 115 - 125 for graduate programs with higher English proficiency requirements. CAEL - A score between 50 and 60 in each of four bands with at least 2 band scores of 60 MET - A score of 59 percent.
