The Classics graduate diploma and MA program at Memorial University enables students to broaden and enhance their understanding of ancient Greek and Roman civilizations. Our department delivers adaptable study programs tailored to each student's unique requirements and academic pursuits. Key focus areas include Roman Studies encompassing literary and cultural analysis, Greek literature and historical writing, as well as the intersection between written works and archaeological evidence across classical scholarship.

MA Program – Our Classics Department provides an MA degree concentrating on classical texts and research methodologies, designed for qualified candidates to finish within two years of full-time enrollment, typically starting in September.

Graduate diploma MA Bachelors degree minimum second class in an appropriate area of study In addition to these requirements applicants should have completed at least 30 undergraduate credit hours in Greek and Latin language courses including a minimum of 12 credit hours in each language and at least 6 credit hours from senior level courses

CAEL - A score between 50 and 60 in each of four bands with at least 2 band scores of 60
MET - A score of 59 percent.
