The iBA program caters to students passionate about examining global trends and international matters through the lens of Humanities and Social Sciences. This curriculum aims to equip learners with crucial knowledge and critical thinking abilities needed for analyzing cultural, economic, political, religious, and social phenomena worldwide.
While both the iBA and traditional BA degrees require 120 credit hours, the iBA stands apart by mandating specialized international studies courses and additional language training.
With origins stretching back over a millennium, French has shaped one of Europe's most influential cultures. Countless masterpieces in philosophy, film, historical studies, scientific research, and literary works exist in French. As one of Canada's official languages, French proficiency becomes invaluable for those pursuing national careers across various sectors. Mastering multiple languages provides significant advantages in today's fiercely competitive global economy.

Minimum score of 24 on the IB Diploma with completion of the required subject areas or completion of another recognized High School diploma program.
The IB certificate and career programs are not acceptable for admission unless another recognized High School diploma or certificate has been awarded.
IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on the IELTS Academic with at least a band 6 in reading and writing General training results are not acceptable.
For admission to winter Jan 2025 and later A minimum score of 83 on the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing
For admission to fall Sept 2024 and earlier A minimum score of 79 on the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing and not less than 17 in listening and speaking.
Duolingo English Test DET until spring 2025 only - Requirement A minimum overall score of 115.
Pearson Test of Academic English PTE ACADEMIC - Requirement - For admission to winter Jan 2025 and later A minimum overall score of 60.
For admission to fall Sept 2024 and earlier A minimum score of 58 in each of the reading writing listening and speaking components of the PTE is required.
