The Master of Gender Studies program facilitates advanced exploration of how gender influences personal identities, social dynamics, and global systems. Through interdisciplinary approaches, students analyze power structures and their transformation through intersecting factors including gender, race, class, sexuality, age, ability, and national identity.
Three completion pathways are available: thesis, project, or internship. Memorial University stands unique in Canada by providing internship-based degree completion.
Our graduate diploma option presents an alternative for advanced gender studies education without thesis, project, or internship requirements. Note: This diploma does not constitute a degree.
