The Department of Psychology consists of around 30 faculty members and 60 graduate students. Our faculty lead dynamic research initiatives across various psychology fields, often involving community volunteers. Psychology also participates in the interdisciplinary Cognitive and Behavioural Ecology (CABE) program, which provides both M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. Prospective students must apply directly to the CABE program.
Our social group offers both (1) applied and (2) experimental programs.
The Masters in Applied Psychological Science (MAPS) program addresses the demands of students and employers alike. Participants will acquire essential skills to formulate relevant questions and perform research in practical environments like businesses, government agencies, and healthcare institutions. Graduates will be prepared for either professional roles or doctoral studies. Visit MAPS for additional information about this cooperative program.
