Our faculty examines this pivotal era in literary history across diverse national and colonial settings, encompassing American, British, Canadian, and North Atlantic regions. In both research and instruction, we employ numerous theoretical frameworks such as book history, colonial discourse analysis, ecocriticism, feminist theory, economic criticism, historicism, embodiment studies, posthumanism, urban theory, and methodologies relevant to Atlantic studies.
