The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science provides graduate diploma programs along with MASc, MEng, and PhD degrees across multiple engineering fields such as Civil, Communications, Computer, Electrical, Energy Systems, Mechanical, Ocean and Naval Architecture, Oil and Gas, Process, and Safety and Risk Engineering. The faculty boasts diverse expertise with many professors bringing extensive industry experience to their teaching and research, often supplemented by consulting work.

PhD – The doctoral program requires coursework, comprehensive examinations, and a dissertation, typically finished within four years of full-time enrollment.

Earning a PhD generally spans three to four years and includes two advanced courses post-master's level, passing comprehensive exams, and producing an original research thesis.

PhD Masters degree in an appropriate area of study applicants rank in class referees assessments general performance through previous academic programs and availability of supervisors will all be considered
