The Division of BioMedical Sciences (BMS) within the Faculty of Medicine oversees the Cardiovascular & Renal Science graduate program, providing students with options to earn either a Master of Science (MSc) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Students join an active research environment, gaining expertise in cardiovascular and renal physiology through hands-on laboratory work, academic courses, seminars, and participation in the yearly BioMedicine research symposium, plus additional professional growth activities across campus. The Faculty of Medicine facilitates a visiting lecturer series, teaching assistant positions, internal funding opportunities, administrative assistance, and a specialized Office of Research & Graduate Studies for medical graduate students. The Health Sciences Library, situated in the Health Sciences Center next to the Faculty of Medicine, offers additional resources.
