The Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Recreation Co-operative (BHKRC) program is tailored for students looking to shape their academic journey toward their career aspirations, equipping them for diverse roles in health-related fields such as health promotion, kinesiology, therapeutic and community recreation, fitness, wellness, and lifestyle professions.
This multidisciplinary program provides flexible pathways, combining academic advancement with hands-on experience. Through co-op work terms, you can explore your professional interests while earning money to fund your studies.

Minimum score of 24 on the IB Diploma with completion of the required subject areas or completion of another recognized High School diploma program.
The IB certificate and career programs are not acceptable for admission unless another recognized High School diploma or certificate has been awarded.
IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on the IELTS Academic with at least a band 6 in reading and writing General training results are not acceptable.
For admission to winter Jan 2025 and later A minimum score of 83 on the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing
For admission to fall Sept 2024 and earlier A minimum score of 79 on the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing and not less than 17 in listening and speaking.
Duolingo English Test DET until spring 2025 only - Requirement A minimum overall score of 115.
Pearson Test of Academic English PTE ACADEMIC - Requirement - For admission to winter Jan 2025 and later A minimum overall score of 60.
For admission to fall Sept 2024 and earlier A minimum score of 58 in each of the reading writing listening and speaking components of the PTE is required.
