The Bachelor of Arts (BA) program mandates students to finish at least 120 credit hours (typically 40 courses) over approximately four years. Throughout your education, you'll explore cultural perspectives, intellectual traditions, ancient and modern history, social dynamics, and the natural influences that continually reshape our world. This program cultivates essential critical analysis, problem-solving, and communication abilities to thrive in an evolving global landscape.
Religious studies approaches faith traditions through academic inquiry, neither promoting nor dismissing specific belief systems. This discipline focuses on comprehending diverse religious expressions across different eras and cultures. Our curriculum offers focused study of major world religions including Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Confucianism, and Daoism. Students also investigate religious influences in modern culture, artistic expressions, ceremonial practices, and intersections with scientific, political, legal, and ethical debates.

Qualification Requirements
Applicants shall have completed the requirements for a recognized high school diploma or equivalent.
English Language Requirements:
Duolingo English Test (DET) - A minimum score of 115.
IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 6.5, with at least a band 6 in reading and writing. General training results are not acceptable.
TOEFL - For admission to winter (Jan) 2025 and later: A minimum score of 83 on the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition, with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing; For admission to fall (Sept) 2024 and earlier: A minimum score of 79 on the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition, with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing, and not less than 17 in listening and speaking.
Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Assessment: For admission to winter (Jan) 2025 and later: A minimum overall score of 60; For admission to fall (Sept) 2024 and earlier: Minimum band scores between 50 and 60 in each of the four skills tested (reading, writing, listening and speaking), with at least two band scores of 60.
PTE Academic: A minimum score of 58 (fall (Sept) 2024); A minimum overall score of 60 ((Jan) 2025 and later).
Cambridge Assessment English: A minimum score of 176 in C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency.
Michigan English Test (MET) - A minimum score of 59 is required on the MELAB.
