In the Physics & Astronomy department, we recognize how vital graduate students are to fostering a dynamic and diverse research community. Our department maintains a balanced size, with 26 faculty researchers and approximately 70 graduate students. Each academic department has its unique identity—ours is distinguished by intensive research activity within a major research university. Faculty and students collaborate on groundbreaking projects spanning various physics and astronomy specialties, publishing in leading academic journals. Despite not being the largest department, we take pride in our reputation for warmth and approachability.
