The Inclusive Education Certificate program is designed for mainstream classroom teachers, special education instructors, adult education professionals, and other school staff. This course series offers comprehensive training to effectively modify teaching methods and materials for students with different capabilities, learning preferences, and unique requirements. The program addresses the evolving responsibilities of today's educators by: (a) equipping general teachers with skills to support diverse learners in inclusive classrooms, and (b) preparing special education teachers to work cooperatively with colleagues serving students with exceptionalities.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must hold a CEGEP diploma (DCS, DEC or equivalent).


TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-based Test) - Minimum acceptable scores are: 90 overall (a minimum individual component score of 21 in each of the four components reading, writing, listening and speaking).
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic Versions - A band score of 6.5 or better, individual component scores must be 6.0 or better. Regular Academic and UKVI Academic versions are both accepted.
