The Medical Assistant program equips students with the expertise and abilities needed to offer administrative assistance to healthcare providers across hospitals, doctor's offices, specialist clinics, and provincial health organizations. Through instruction from experienced professionals in intimate classroom environments, you'll gain proficiency in medical records, terminology, office protocols, financial processes, appointment coordination, business fundamentals, software applications, and healthcare systems to adeptly handle front-office operations in medical settings. A seven-week practical training component allows you to hone your skills in professional environments, while MITT's Bridging to Work seminars will establish core workplace competencies that modern employers require.
