Engineering Physics fosters innovation, pushes intellectual boundaries, and values holistic perspectives. You'll establish a robust grounding in applied physics combined with electrical and mechanical engineering principles, while acquiring hands-on engineering design experience. Recognized as one of UBC's most rigorous and selective undergraduate programs, the five-year Engineering Physics curriculum integrates academic coursework, project-based learning, and co-op opportunities to equip students for technological innovation and cross-disciplinary engineering initiatives. The program features advanced Mathematics and Physics coursework alongside Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering studies. During your second year, you'll explore these disciplines before specializing in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics engineering. The program intentionally incorporates technical work terms to complement classroom learning.

Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior secondary school: Higher Secondary School Certificate awarded on completion of Standard XII. Certificates must be official. Photocopies are acceptable if certified by school principal, head, or counsellor. Notarized copies are not acceptable.
