Qualification Requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma (or expected completion within 45 days of the program start date), or equivalent. International applicants must meet the general entrance requirements based on country/curriculum of study. Applicants must also meet the program-specific requirements, including:

  • Senior level Math with a grade of 50 per cent or higher, or equivalent.
  • Senior level First Language Literature with a grade of 50 per cent or higher, or equivalent.

All high school grades will be converted to an equivalent Manitoba grade scale.

English language requirement:

  • IELTS (Academic) (International English Language Testing System): 6.0 overall, no band less than 5.5
  • PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic): 54
  • TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet Based): Overall score of 78, with no less than 17 in each component
  • CAEL CE & CAEL Online (Canadian Academic English Assessment): 60
  • Cambridge English Advanced Certificate (C1): Scale Score of 180 / Grade of C
