The Administrative major equips you with essential computer competencies and business acumen to thrive in today's corporate environment. This program emphasizes technological proficiency, training students in modern software applications to effectively handle information and execute sophisticated office operations.
The Office Assistant curriculum follows a structured, sequential approach with no elective choices. Students must complete all required courses in the specified order according to the program's predetermined schedule, as each course is only available during designated terms.
Applicants must have ELA 30-1 or ELA 30-2 with a minimum grade of 65 percent (or equivalent).
Applicants must be 20 years of age or older and have been out of full-time high school at least one year by the beginning of the intake term. Applicants must have ELA 30-1 or ELA 30-2 with a minimum grade of 65% (or equivalent).
Applicants with nine or more post-secondary credits must also present a minimum Admission Grade Point Average (AGPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
