The theatre production program equips you for careers across live and recorded entertainment as a technician, artisan, craftsperson, and manager. Gain practical experience by helping produce MacEwan University's full theatre season. Mastering core theatre production techniques, you'll implement these skills within diverse creative teams: managing stages and productions, designing costumes, painting sets, constructing scenery, operating lighting and video systems, handling props, and managing audio.
Under the mentorship of seasoned professionals, you'll navigate the demands of a production schedule while enjoying the fulfillment of creative achievement.
Applicants have a minimum overall average of 65 percent, with no course grade lower than 50 percent, in the following high school courses- ELA 30-1 or 75% in ELA 30-2 Four subjects from Group A, B, C, or D.
