The Bachelor in Forensic Identification (BFI) program is uniquely designed for Canadian law enforcement personnel, including both sworn officers and civilian members of police services who have completed foundational Forensic Identification training at either the Ontario Police College or Canadian Police College. As North America's sole program of this nature, it currently serves around 130 officers nationwide. This innovative degree blends online learning with concentrated one-week study sessions held at the Ontario Police College or police services in Calgary and Edmonton. Officers enjoy flexibility in choosing courses, allowing them to customize their education to align with both their department's operational requirements and personal academic pursuits, thereby optimizing the program's educational benefits.
