Earn a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Physical and Health Education while completing prerequisite courses for the Professional Year (5th year). Graduate one year earlier than traditional consecutive teaching programs. Select between two specialization tracks: primary/junior (JK to grade 6) or junior/intermediate (grades 4-10). Complete required subject credits to qualify for intermediate and senior level teaching positions. Benefit from dedicated academic support through an undergraduate advisor and program director for educational and career guidance. Acquire practical experience through three undergraduate field placements, plus a six-week Initial Placement right after finishing your fourth year. Placement opportunities may involve schools and community organizations like Frontier College, YMCA, Better Beginnings Better Futures, Best Start Hubs, and the Learning Disabilities Association of Sudbury.
