Criminology examines how social inequalities connect to crime and violence in modern society, along with specific groups that encounter legal conflicts.
This comprehensive program covers criminological theories, criminal justice institutions, crime causation, cultural aspects of crime, racial profiling and policing in Canada, Indigenous peoples' experiences with the justice system, youth societal issues, new religious movements, corporate-state crime, and media representations of crime.
Career Paths
