The Langara College Post-Degree Diploma in Nursing Practice in Canada (PDD NPIC) equips Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) with the necessary skills to qualify for nursing licensure and professional roles. This comprehensive program focuses on developing critical thinking, clinical decision-making, effective communication, and cultural competency within healthcare environments.

Through interactive learning approaches and diverse assessment methods, the curriculum aligns with the British Columbia College of Nursing and Midwives (BCCNM) standards. Participants gain hands-on experience through classroom instruction, lab simulations, and clinical placements to strengthen their practical nursing abilities and technical skills.

Candidates who completed their nursing education over four years before the program start date must satisfy all entry criteria and demonstrate recent professional nursing experience (minimum half-time employment). Those meeting this requirement will receive a Supplemental Application Form, followed by an interview invitation upon successful verification of their work history.
