The Nutrition and Food Service Management Program offers learning pathways for those seeking careers in food service administration and eligibility for the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM). This accredited diploma primarily serves the healthcare industry, with Langara graduates being highly sought after throughout British Columbia and nationwide.
The program blends essential food service instruction in administration, operations, and nutritional science with complementary academic coursework. Learners implement food service management principles through diverse practical training and hands-on field placements. The entire curriculum can be taken online, accommodating both full-time and part-time students, while also offering the option to complete half the program through in-person classes.
Students must have a BC Grade 12 Graduation (or equivalent).
