Engineering encompasses a wide range of disciplines centered on designing and sustaining technological and industrial systems. Our Faculty of Engineering seeks students with innovative thinking and curiosity to tackle complex challenges spanning environmental, mathematical, ethical, and scientific domains.
Our distinguished faculty includes field-leading researchers conducting groundbreaking work on campus. As an engineering student, you'll collaborate directly with professors on coursework and research initiatives. We create dynamic learning environments that prepare graduates to transform industries. We stand as Canada's sole institution offering a combined Bachelor of Engineering degree and Technology Diploma in just four years. Our unique College Transfer program allows qualified Engineering Technology graduates to complete an Engineering degree in two years. All programs feature optional co-op placements, providing paid professional experience.
Every Engineering major can participate in our co-operative education internship, which delivers a minimum of 16 months of paid fieldwork. This extended program results in graduation one year later than the standard Bachelor of Engineering track.

Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD),
or Completion of Grade 12 and the Secondary School Diploma,
A minimum of 6 Grade 12U or M courses, or equivalent, including program specific prerequisite courses,
A minimum 70%* overall final average
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme applicants who achieve their diploma with a total score of at least 24 may be eligible for admission. Three Higher Level subjects must be completed. Prerequisite courses can be presented at either Standard Level or Higher Level. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission. Some of our competitive programs may require a total score greater than 24.
Successful graduation from an academic secondary school program or equivalent (For most countries, the same academic preparation as is required for university entrance in that country is required for consideration. Refer to Admission Requirements by Country.)
