Government policies impact nearly every facet of daily life, spanning housing, education, and public safety. Our Political Science curriculum examines the structures, ideologies, methods, and forces that govern policy-making across all levels. Students develop comprehensive knowledge of political frameworks - with special emphasis on Canada's system - along with fundamental concepts of liberty, equity, and fairness. We aim to deliver balanced Political Science training by combining theoretical approaches with practical applications to analyze social, economic, and historical dimensions.
For those curious about global political structures, the program offers exploration of governmental systems in the Americas, Africa, Europe, and Asia. Coursework also covers: Global Affairs, Political Philosophy, Legal Systems and Governance, Public Sector Management, Indigenous Political Systems, Cross-National Political Analysis.

Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD),
or Completion of Grade 12 and the Secondary School Diploma,

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme applicants who achieve their diploma with a total score of at least 24 may be eligible for admission. Three Higher Level subjects must be completed. Prerequisite courses can be presented at either Standard Level or Higher Level. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission. Some of our competitive programs may require a total score greater than 24.
Successful graduation from an academic secondary school program or equivalent (For most countries, the same academic preparation as is required for university entrance in that country is required for consideration. Refer to Admission Requirements by Country.)
