Our curriculum offers diverse methodologies for historical investigation and equips you with critical tools to examine any subject through a historical lens. You'll explore themes across multiple regions including North America, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and South Asia, with topics such as Indigenous Studies, Digital Archives, Ecological History, Gender Studies, Global Development, Governance History, Healthcare History, Conflict Studies, and Cultural History.
You can pair your History degree with programs in English, French, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Gender Studies, Environmental Recreation, Park Management, or Education. Pursuing a dual major enables you to concentrate your historical expertise on a specific discipline right from your first year. Additional certificate programs are offered. Students may also opt for focused tracks in either Community History or War Studies within their History degree.
