Our Interdisciplinary Studies program offers adaptable structure, empowering you to tailor your academic journey. You'll explore beyond conventional undergraduate boundaries by selecting courses across diverse fields aligned with your professional goals.
As an Interdisciplinary Studies student, you can pair any two focus areas from these options: Anthropology, Biology, Criminology, English, General Science, Geography, History, Media Studies, Film and Communications, Political Science, Psychology, or Sociology. This path cultivates sophisticated analytical abilities, solution-focused approaches, and expertise across multiple subjects. Specialized tracks are available in Environmental Politics and Culture, Human Behavior, Social Equity, and Global Conflict with Human Rights.
The program also enables combining your studies with Concurrent Education to qualify for Primary-Junior level teaching certification. For aspiring educators, our interdisciplinary approach delivers the comprehensive knowledge base required for elementary classroom instruction.
