This program aims to train nurses in providing care from a health promotion viewpoint while maintaining an ethical approach to patient relationships.
Students will cultivate awareness of diverse health experiences throughout life's stages in various environments. The curriculum prepares learners to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Graduates will play an active role in shaping healthcare by understanding and engaging with evolving medical systems.
Upon completion, graduates qualify to take national licensing exams for registered nurse practice in British Columbia.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum, grounded in health promotion and patient-centered care principles, was designed with input from nursing professionals, academic experts, industry organizations, and government bodies. Complementary non-nursing courses enhance clinical knowledge and skills, addressing contemporary healthcare demands.
