This vibrant academic discipline investigates diverse aspects including perception, action, memory, cognition, intelligence, social interactions, emotions, brain function, motivation, and developmental processes. Huron's Psychology Program provides four specialized B.A. study modules, prioritizing fundamental research competencies in psychological science. Students develop research skills beginning in their first year, with this focus maintained throughout the curriculum. Required research courses examine psychological scholarship across key areas (Learning and Motivation, Cognition, Developmental and Social Psychology), complemented by elective offerings in specialized subjects like Neuropsychology, Personality Theories, Health Psychology, Persuasion Techniques, Biopsychology, Early Childhood Development, and Behavioral Modification.
