The Global Development Studies program explores how our world is shaped by significant disparities, especially concerning poverty. These courses investigate how substantial economic divides create power differentials and foster oppressive social, political, and economic systems often framed as "development." Through critical analysis of these disparities and ethical community-based research, students in these courses develop skills to partner with grassroots movements addressing these systemic inequities.
