The Global Culture Studies program explores how worldviews and intercultural perceptions are influenced by representational practices and ideological frameworks. Students develop expertise in deconstructing discourse and critically assessing how power dynamics manifest in cultural expressions. The curriculum focuses on investigating exclusionary concepts like patriarchal systems, national identity, territoriality, modernization narratives, state authority, and globalization. Learners acquire tools to recognize and challenge racialized paradigms in international theory, masculine privilege, developmental ideologies, and artificial divisions between humanity and nature. This training equips students with the analytical capabilities and ethical awareness needed to engage as conscientious cultural practitioners on the global stage.
