Humber's User Experience (UX) Design graduate certificate program mirrors the collaborative methods required for successful innovation, emphasizing design appeal, technical practicality, and commercial sustainability. Over two terms, you'll gain the skills to identify challenges through design investigation, comprehend issues via analysis, and develop solutions through prototyping and experience creation. The program teaches you to formulate valuable strategies by developing design hypotheses, structured workflow plans, impactful UX materials, and convincing presentations.
You'll master human-focused design techniques and communication principles that root your work in user requirements. The curriculum also covers interaction design and system creation using industry-approved testing approaches, along with designing user interfaces aligned with business objectives. Through diverse theoretical and hands-on projects, you'll cultivate proficient UX design capabilities.
To be eligible for admission, you must possess the following:
A bachelor’s degree, advanced diploma, diploma or equivalent
CAEL Online or In-Person: Overall band score of 60; Cambridge English Tests Minimum FCE/CAE/CPE Score -> Minimum B2 First / C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency Score: B2 First / C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency 169 (with no single subscore below 162) ; Duolingo Language Test+: 105 and above+ ; IELTS Academic Level: Overall 6.0 AND No band below 5.5; MET: 56; PTE: 53 - 57; TOEFL Academic Level: 550 for paper-based test OR 80 (20L, 20W, 20S, 20R) for internet-based test
