Humber's Electromechanical Engineering Technology advanced diploma equips you with expertise to assist manufacturers who increasingly depend on automation technology to stay competitive worldwide. The program develops your abilities in key areas including industrial robotics, control systems, machining, fluid power systems, workplace safety, mechatronics, PLC programming, automated welding, mechanical components, and computerized control techniques. You'll gain proficiency in interpreting technical schematics and utilizing diagnostic equipment for both electrical and mechanical systems.

Building on the fundamentals from the Electromechanical Engineering Technician program, this advanced curriculum expands career opportunities through enhanced project-based learning and extensive hands-on laboratory experience.
To be eligible for admission, you must possess the following:
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including these required courses:
Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U or equivalent)
Grade 12 Mathematics (MAP4C, MCT4C, MDM4U, MCB4U, MGA4U, MCV4U or MHF4U or equivalent)
Two Grade 11 or Grade 12 C, M or U courses in addition to those listed above
or
Mature student status
or
College or university transfer status
CAEL Online or In-Person: Overall band score of 60; Cambridge English Tests Minimum FCE/CAE/CPE Score -> Minimum B2 First / C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency Score: B2 First / C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency 169 (with no single subscore below 162) ; Duolingo Language Test+: 105 and above+ ; IELTS Academic Level: Overall 6.0 AND No band below 5.5; MET: 56; PTE: 53 - 57; TOEFL Academic Level: 550 for paper-based test OR 80 (20L, 20W, 20S, 20R) for internet-based test
