The Human Services program equips you with the expertise to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in reaching their goals. Gain understanding of different cognitive, developmental, and physical challenges while building hands-on assistance skills. The curriculum covers essential topics like Effective Communication, Daily Living Support, Community Integration, Individualized Planning, Mental Health, Self-Care, and Instructional Techniques. This bilingual program features shared courses available in both English and French through a collaboration between Holland College and Collège de l'Île.
