Kitchen and bathroom design represents a specialized area in residential interior decoration and design. Drawing upon foundational design training and practical experience, learners cultivate cutting-edge skills that meet industry benchmarks. They learn to evaluate client requirements, concentrating on functional yet visually appealing designs, eco-friendly factors, and long-lasting solutions that enhance health, safety, and accessibility. Participants deepen their understanding of sector-specific materials, product details, manufacturing techniques, structural considerations, and professional standards, while honing abilities to produce precise and attractive technical and presentation illustrations.

Qualification Requirements
Applicants with a post-secondary diploma or degree in the following will be admitted to the Kitchen and Bath Graduate Certificate Program without a portfolio review:
- Interior design
- Interior decorating
- Architecture design and technology
- Construction engineering technology
- Structural engineering
- Environmental design
Applicants who do not meet the requirements above may be considered upon submission of a portfolio showing evidence of creative ability, manual drafting and computer aided drafting skills, and industry experience.
Applicants must meet ONE of the following criteria to meet Georgian’s language proficiency requirements:
- TOEFL Internet-based test (IBT): 89
- TOEFL Paper-based test: 580
- IELTS Academic only: 6.5
- YELT: 1-5
- TOEIC: 850
- Graduate of Level 8 of Georgian’s GAAS - English for Academic Purposes: Completion of level 8 with 80% or higher
- Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL): 60
- Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE): 61
- Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): 175
