This program equips students with essential knowledge and skills to assist individuals in home settings, long-term care facilities, or hospitals as valued members of healthcare teams. After completing the program, graduates develop the ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals while delivering safe, quality care to those facing physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. Personal Support Workers (PSWs) operate as non-regulated caregivers, working either under professional supervision or directly with clients in independent living situations.
