By combining theory with practical training, students acquire the expertise, abilities, principles, and ethics needed to fulfill the Inter-Jurisdictional Practice Competencies and Performance Indicators established by Canada's Federation of Massage Therapy Regulatory Authorities. The curriculum includes clinical rotations at our public clinic and external healthcare facilities, exposing students to a wide range of patient cases. This program cultivates competent, self-sufficient entry-level professionals prepared for the realities of massage therapy practice. As integral members of healthcare teams, graduates who register with Ontario's College of Massage Therapists can practice as primary care providers enhancing clients' health, wellness, and life quality. Career opportunities span diverse settings such as private practices, multidisciplinary clinics, hospitals, long-term care facilities, sports organizations, fitness centers, and corporate environments.
