The two-year Mechanical Technician – CNC and Precision Machining diploma program immerses you in precision machining and advanced CNC technology. Our cutting-edge facilities feature specialized labs for Precision Machining, CADCAM, CNC, Research, and Robotics, providing practical training with industry-standard equipment. You'll create tools, jigs, fixtures, and prototypes using CAD/CAM software, precision machining tools, and sophisticated CNC technology. The program culminates with a 15-week industry co-op placement during your final year.
This diploma program blends theoretical knowledge of advanced machine-tool technology (CADCAMCNC) with intensive hands-on manufacturing experience, preparing you to tackle real-world technical challenges. Your technical education will be complemented by courses in mathematics, communications, and general studies.
During your final year, you'll apply digital manufacturing techniques using laser cutters, 3D printers, and multi-axis CNC machines to develop functional prototypes.
