The Community Worker (Accelerated) program equips students to drive meaningful social transformation by collaborating with organizations, communities, and individuals on critical issues including poverty, housing, legal advocacy, discrimination, food security, and immigrant/refugee support.

This intensive program option, tailored for college and university graduates, offers a concentrated version of the two-year Community Worker (C101) curriculum. The one-year Community Worker (Accelerated) (C131) diploma combines rigorous study with practical application, rooted in social justice principles, human rights advocacy, and anti-oppressive methodologies.

diploma or bachelor's degree. Applicants with international transcripts who do not provide English Language proficiency test results must test at the college level in the George Brown College English assessment to be considered for admission.
