The technology sector has a strong need for graduates skilled in configuring and integrating wireless devices with wired networks. As wireless networks increasingly serve as the foundation for global commercial and industrial growth, their advantages become more apparent in daily operations—from monitoring and control systems to organizational communications, data sharing, mobile accounting, and real-time sales support. Wireless Information Networking (WIN) lies at the core of this evolving landscape, driving demand for professionals capable of designing and deploying wireless solutions.
Businesses, governments, and institutions face numerous wireless networking challenges, such as collecting data from wireless sensors or securely syncing mobile devices—issues this program directly tackles. At Fleming, learning occurs through diverse approaches, including lectures, lab work, case studies, simulations, guest speakers, site visits, and a hands-on industry project. In the capstone project during semesters three and four, students tackle actual industry challenges in Wireless Information Networking, proving their ability to create practical solutions for modern business needs. Graduates will leave with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on expertise, preparing them for successful careers as network specialists.
