The global economy loses trillions annually to cybercrime. Join the defenders by learning to safeguard computer systems and wireless networks against security threats. As a cybersecurity professional, you'll master techniques to shield digital assets, programs, and networks from harmful intrusions and malware. The curriculum explores vital security principles including infrastructure protection, information system defense, risk assessment, security protocols, along with the legal and ethical dimensions of the field.
Upon completion, you'll be equipped for roles within IT security teams or technical support departments.
Applicants must be graduates of a diploma, advanced diploma, or degree program from an Ontario College or equivalent.
OR
Applicant must possess five years of work experience in a related field (or combination of education and work experience) as judged by the College to be equivalent. Applicants must submit a resume detailing their related experience and a cover letter outlining their competencies and preparedness for the program.
English language requirements:
IELTS 6.5 (no band under 6.0), TOEFL 570 (paper-based test) 84 (internet-based test) and PTE (Pearson) 61.
