The Electromechanical Engineering Technician program is a two-year Ontario college diploma that includes co-op experience. This program teaches students how to assess, adjust, service, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems. Participants will also gain expertise in project management, mechanical drawings, tolerances, and system mechanics. As technology advances, this program equips students with in-demand skills for an evolving industry.

Through this program, you'll master robotics fundamentals and can pursue FANUC Robotics Certification via our specialized training. The curriculum also covers PLC automation, HMI design, and pneumatic control systems.
To thrive in today's workforce requires varied abilities, which is why the program includes project management, legal/ethical studies, and communication skills. This four-semester EMN program combines classroom learning with practical experience, including valuable co-op placements.
A 15-week culminating project allows students to showcase their electromechanical expertise. The program emphasizes PLC automation, HMI creation, and pneumatic systems. Using AutoCad and SolidWorks, students learn mechanical drafting, tolerances, and modern equipment design. The curriculum also develops analytical skills for system evaluation and maintenance.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or a mature applicant with the following course: - Grade 12 Math (C or U) - MCT4C is preferred. English Language requirement - TOEFL iBT 79,  IELTS Academic Overall score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in any of the four bands, CAEL Overall score of 60 with no score less than 50 in any of the four bands. score of 80 in listening, PTE Academic 53, Cambridge English Overall score of 169 with no language skill less than 162.
