Fanshawe's Culinary Management program arms you with all the essential tools for industry success – whether you aspire to work in elite restaurant kitchens, operate a mobile food business, or launch a catering service. This intensive two-year diploma cultivates both technical expertise and professional conduct within a vibrant kitchen setting.
The Culinary Management program offers an innovative two-year curriculum focused on honing students' cooking abilities and workplace professionalism. Alongside extensive hands-on labs covering fundamental and specialized techniques, the course includes training in food science, baking principles, nutrition, business skills, and kitchen operations. Participants will earn both Safe Food Handling and Smartserve certifications during their studies, with opportunities to pursue WSET and Prud'homme Beer credentials after graduation.
Hands-on instruction takes place in cutting-edge culinary and baking laboratories equipped with modern technology. Students gain real-world experience in our operational teaching restaurant, The Chef's Table at Fanshawe College's downtown London location. The program facilitates valuable industry connections and includes a full-semester co-op placement within the culinary field.
The program hosts yearly recruitment events with industry leaders and offers competitive opportunities. Students can also join exclusive international study trips through partnerships with prestigious culinary institutions in Italy and Switzerland.
