Fanshawe's three-year fine arts curriculum embraces traditional hands-on techniques in visual arts. Our state-of-the-art studios, exclusively for program participants, create an ideal space to cultivate your skills in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, video, and digital media. You'll also delve into art history and philosophy to build a strong theoretical foundation. Throughout your studies, you'll showcase your work in professional galleries, gaining valuable experience in artistic practice and launching your Fine Art career.
Upon completing the fine arts program, graduates can pursue university studies for art education or enter the private sector, joining alumni who have become museum curators, studio assistants, commercial technicians, and independent consultants.
This rigorous three-year Fine Art program focuses on honing technical, perceptual, and conceptual abilities across multiple mediums - essential disciplines for professional artists and educators.
Admission to the Fine Art advanced diploma requires successful completion of the one-year Fine Art Foundation certificate program.
Foundation program graduates wishing to continue must submit an "Application for Program Transfer" form, available at the Registrar's Office in Room E1012.

IELTS Academic: Overall score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in any of the four bands

Cambridge English Test (FCE/CAE/CPE): with an overall score on the Cambridge English Scale of 169 with no language skill less than 162
