Fanshawe's Cyber Security advanced diploma is a comprehensive three-year program that equips students with essential information security (InfoSec) competencies for thriving in the IT security field. Graduates will emerge with the expertise to safeguard organizational data against cyber threats and implement protective measures for critical infrastructure.Through practical lab sessions, case study evaluations, and research initiatives, students will deepen their InfoSec knowledge while honing interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical abilities. The curriculum incorporates three co-op work terms to reinforce these competencies across real-world settings.The program begins with core cyber security subjects such as information security principles, ethical considerations, network analysis, programming fundamentals, operating systems, and database administration. Qualification Requirements

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or a mature applicant with the following courses:
Grade 12 English (C or U)
Grade 12 Math (C, M or U) with a minimum final grade of 65.

Students who do not meet the admission requirements are recommended for academic upgrading. A conditional offer may be possible with proof of enrolment.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test with a minimum score of 79 for the Internet-based test (iBT), with test results within the last two years
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic test with an overall score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in any of the four bands, with test results within the last two years.
