A career in human resources (HR) spans from hiring processes to employee growth initiatives, demanding a balance between strategic thinking and interpersonal skills. HR experts need competencies in workforce planning, workplace safety, remuneration, recruitment, staff training, union relations, and financial management to drive organizational performance in today's competitive global economy while safeguarding a company's greatest resource – its workforce.
This curriculum covers all nine mandatory courses for the academic portion of both the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) certifications. Learners attaining a 70% average across these courses, with no single course below 65%, fulfill the academic prerequisites for taking the Comprehensive Knowledge Exams (CKE1 and CKE2) – a crucial milestone toward obtaining Ontario's CHRP or CHRL credentials.
